v0.5.0
latestTwo new modes, a voice assistant, and tools your agents can use.
- newWork mode: chat-style works per project with @-mentions, attachments,
/commands, Plan and Goal modes, dictation and an engine picker. Split 2 to 4 works side by side on one folder, send to all at once, and compare the results. - newAgent mode: named teammates with an avatar, a role, memory, skills and their own chats. Routines run teammates on a schedule.
- newNexus Assistant: an orb in the title bar and a floating capsule. Talk or type; hold ⌃⌥Space to talk. Speech recognition and spoken replies run on your Mac.
- newBuilt-in tools your agents can use: an in-app browser, computer use with approvals, canvas, iOS Simulator, a tasks board, and messages between panes and teammates.
- newConnections: 21 official MCP servers one click away (more coming), with secrets kept in the macOS Keychain. Plus the MCP Hub for your own servers, skills and a prompt library.
- newUsage-limit failover: when a CLI says its limit is reached, the pane offers Wait or Switch account. Multiple sign-in profiles per CLI.

v0.4.2
Auto bypass switches, and every terminal starts in the folder you picked.
- newSeparate Auto bypass switches for Claude Code and Codex in Settings → Agents → Installed CLIs. Both are off by default and apply to new or resumed terminals; running terminals keep their mode.
- noteBypass skips the provider's approval prompts, and for Codex it also turns off the sandbox. Commands are not confined to the project folder.
- changedOne folder choice now drives the header, the launcher and the running process, so each CLI starts exactly where you pointed it.
- changedNew terminals start in your project folder by default. Terminals you already saved keep their folders.
- fixedSign-in and usage checks respect custom CLI paths, symlinked folders resolve correctly, and new launches and resumes share the 16-terminal limit.
- fixedIf a Codex session ID is unknown or ambiguous, Nexus shows Codex's own session picker instead of guessing.
-
v0.4.1
Terminal layout and input fixes.
- fixedClaude Code's layout no longer breaks at startup. Terminals open at their real size and resizes arrive in order, with Metal rendering still on.
- fixedTyping keeps its order while a terminal resizes, and queued input is dropped when its process stops.
- changedParallel and Squad launches only change the number of sessions. Projects use their own folder unless you choose isolation, and folder buttons open the real folder in Finder.
- fixedAn unused Claude Code pane reopens with the same session. Existing conversations still resume exactly.
-
v0.4.0
Projects, a terminal hub, and sessions that survive a restart.
- newSidebar with Pinned, Projects and Recents: expandable project folders, terminal search, rename, pin, grouping and archive.
- newNew Project (⌘⇧N) creates a workspace folder or links an existing one. ⌘O adds an existing workspace.
- newTerminal hub: type straight into any terminal, and expand or restore panes without losing a live session.
- newProjects, terminal names, open panes and output history are saved. History is searchable and exportable, and closed panes stay closed after a restart.
- newClaude Code and Codex resume their exact conversations after a restart. Shell and custom terminals reopen their history and start fresh when you ask.
- newSettings shows each CLI's path, version, sign-in status and whether it can resume.
- fixedCodex launches the stable CLI that matches its background service instead of an incompatible bundled build.
- changedA new graphite and cyan app icon.
